![]() ![]() I may just continue with the stranger repo setup that should work for all users and I can just admin the cores if necessary later. When I linked it seemed to break like never having assets. I feel Steam would have similar core limitations with the system, and the only benefit would be friend integration, while possibly having other configuration issues as well.ĭo you know why it does not appear in the GUI Software catalog application? I thought it would search flatpak automatically.Ĭore downloading/installing seemed to work better here, but I wished it used existing config that I had. Mupen64plus will only work through the NSP file. The Mupen64plus core requires more memory to be allocated than Hbmenu currently allows for. The main reasons for using this are: Being able to launch RetroArch straight from the main menu instead of having to boot Hbmenu first. Avoiding Snap because it did not seem as well a standard or history from Canonical compared to Flatpak, at least some have stated a preference that way. We now provide an NSP file for Switch straight from our Download page. ![]() Tried Flatpak instruction from that link too. I had the retroarch and libretro packages, but not enough of them. Observe progress and then success message.įound this and I probably have packages because I already enabled RPMFusion:.Log file shows: Download of '/usr/lib64/libretro/.so.zip' failed: Write failed. Success message even though the core is still not present. Appears in the core list when wanting to load one. Expected behaviorĬore not downloaded/installed. Some paths are set inside the user home folder, while others in /usr.Īt least the problem is no error is shown in the GUI.Īlso curious what the expected process is for adding cores since this obvious process does not work, did not find special documentation describing avoiding this error, I do not see other packages in the repository to add cores, only freeworld ones, use of superuser access is discouraged, and this could be fixed automatically by the program as well so it would work for any user. Hidden error when enabling logs.Īpplication is installed in a system-wide location. ![]()
